The Sir Peter Scott Building Refurbishment
The Modern Languages Department, the largest Department in the School, has outgrown its present accommodation in the Gascoigne Building. The plans are to turn the Sir Peter Scott Building into a state-of-the-art languages centre to house the Department. This prestigious and exciting two-stage process will place the School’s languages provision at the forefront, preparing its pupils for life and work in the international world. The Cripps Library
A fund-raising appeal for the Cripps Library refurbishment was launched at Grocers' Hall in March 2010. OOs, former and current parents donated generously, and the project was completed in October 2011. The School worked closely with Luke Hughes and Company on the plans for the library, which increased shelf capacity, reader spaces and computer workstations, improved the lighting, and provided better display for our collection of Greek pots, archive material and rare books. You can read more about the project and view photos here.
